Sunday August 31st - The day started with a bus ride from Castelrotto to ride a gondola up to the highest mountain in Germany, Zugspitze. We enjoyed splendid views and lunch and then back to the bus to continue the drive to Füssen.

 

We arrived in Füssen and headed to the town square. Later our tour group enjoyed dinner together in the hotel restaurant.

 

Monday September 1st - After breakfast some of us went for a bike ride and to get photos of Neuschwanstein from an anble that we missed on our last trip.  Others of us wandered around Füssen and were serenaded by German Alphorn players. We joined up at lunchtime for some pizza in the town square, followed by....you guessed it, gelato! Later, more walking about town.
