Wednesday August 27th - Early start with a train ride from Milan to Salzburg via Verona and Innsbruck.

A walk around followed by a bite at Fifty 4 Burgers, we then officially began the Rick Steves tour with a group meet-up and welcome session. There we hooked up with our friends from a tour last year, Lisa and Stan, and we all headed out to see Salzburg (again) and enjoy dinner at Sternbrau (and of course we followed all that up with ice cream).

Thursday August 28th - The day started with a couple of bus rides up to Eagle's Nest with beautiful views.

Riding both buses back down, we headed to the town of Berchtesgaden and enjoyed an ice cold afternoon snack. Back in Salzburg we had an early dinner at an Indian/Italian/Austrian restaurant, Zum Mohren. Then back to Salzburg for the night.
