The drive from Kraków to Eger included a lunch stop in Levoča. So that meant in one day we enjoyed:
A long but enjoyable bus ride included beautiful photos thru the window
and
a stop along the way to take an offiical group photo, which Sanel later had printed for everyone
and
a lunch stop in Levoča where we also played the traditionally required on all Rick Steves tours “name game”
We made a photo stop/pit stop at the Caves of Aggtelek Karst in Hungary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 280 karst caves are formed in soluble limestone rock.
We then made it to out hotel on the outskirts of Eger and had goulash and other traditional Hungarian foods for dinner.
