After taking a ferry ride from the Ravinj pier to the island of St. Catherine, an historic summer villa purchased by Count Milewski, we checked in to the

After an early breakfast we took a short boat ride from the island to Ravinj Old Town. We spent a good part of the day wandering around the quaint streets, sightseeing, people watching, taking in all the sights, and of course, enjoying ice cream at a café. Karen and Rodney also climbed up the hill to the Church of St. Euphemia. In the evening, our group took a boat ride around some of the islands.

 

Another night was spent in the lovely island hotel and the next morning a drive into Slovenia for our final days of the tour.

We were greeted with champagne and orange juice in the fancy hotel lobby and got settled in our luxurious rooms. After an amazing dinner buffet we wandered around the grounds and enjoyed beautiful evening views across the water of charming
